I'm currently a medical student perusing pediatric oncology. I love spending time with kids, having adventures, exploring the outdoors, making art, doing science experiments, and just encouraging them to be kids. I started babysitting in middle school, and became a full-time summer nanny in high school and through college (references available upon request). I had a ton of fun building forts, exploring state parks, making goofy music videos, joining library reading contests, making our own cooking show, camping out in the back yard (complete with hot dogs and s'mores), hiking and creek walking, and even hosting our own "neighborhood olympics". I first became basic life support (advanced CPR) certified as I started spending more time in and around the water with the kiddos and their safety is always my biggest concern, and continue to keep my certification up to date as I am working in the hospital. In college, I Read more became a dance instructor while perusing my degree in biology and Spanish - I taught all aspects of dance as well as acrobatics and Pom. I absolutely loved seeing my kiddos grow throughout the year and loved helping shy kids come out of their shell and show off their personality.
