I have been babysitting and working with children since I was 10 years old. I started babysitting during parent-teacher conferences at my elementary school, I babysat throughout high school for multiple families. I worked in a Before and After School Program in high school and I worked in their summer camp program for 3 years. In college I volunteered with pen pals, and child care for school districts around Ames. I currently substitute teach in the Des Moines Metro and I am babysitting for a few families. I love working with children because I get to play and have fun all day. It is fun for me to see children grow and learn on their own. As an education major I enjoy helping children become incredible human beings. I have worked with children my whole life and it is the only job I enjoy to come to every day.
