I am a gentle and creative soul. I am a mother of 2 a 19 year old girl who is awesome; and in collage and working right now. I also have a inventive 11 year old boy with mild autism and is doing great in school and in life. He is ahead of us all. I have also had my 8 year old niece living with us on and off for many years. She is happily living with her mom in Ohio currently. I began babysitting at the age of 14, although I an the oldest of 5 and tended to my siblings before that time. I took 3 sessions of babysitting classes at out church, and made an awesome child care kit. I always had homemade colored noodles for crafts, play dough, and all kinds of activities in my kit. I never was without a babysitting job until I Read more was 18 and working in the public sector as a young adult. I love cooking and caring for children. I went to ISU in art and have enjoyed doing art therapy myself and with my children. We always have a project or invention at our home in progress. I have never met a child I did not like and have never found one that didn't like me. I am a nurturer and love reading to and with children in character, and finding the magic in nature and heath in outside fresh air. I encourage uniqueness in children so they may know themselves and vale and trust themselves. I am kind of anti-technology, and don't have video games or cable at my home. But our family does enjoy a good movie together regularly. I am blessed to live where the electrical lines are buried an there is no buzzing in the air outside. There is resonating peace felt all around. Myself and family eat organically and value non chemical additives. I am often caught singing, and believe in always bringing my own sunshine. I feel that children inspire us to our greatness, not only with patience but unconditional love. I have no certification but I am 40 and have to really great kids. I listed my title as goose mother above because my Native American family that adopted me as an adult. The 80 year old medicine man made me fan beaded with a goose on it and told me I was the goose mother. I love helping and lifting other up, as well as treasure and love the true inner beauty in everyone.
