My name is Liz, and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. I am majoring in English with a double minor in Education, Schooling, and Society and Constitutional Studies. I particularly enjoy my education classes at school, and I hope to work at Teach for America or Alliance for Catholic Education after I graduate in May of 2016. I am home for four months in the summer (May - Aug), during which time I am completely available for babysitting and nannying. At this point in my life, I have had a great deal of experience with caring for children. I have two younger brothers, one of which is nine years younger than I am and has developmental disabilities (acquired brain injury, similar to autism), which has taught me how to be extremely patient, encouraging, and accepting in my interactions with kids. While Read more in high school, I babysat for families at my church and in my neighborhood (anywhere from 1-4 kids under the age of 8), and I consider myself to be particularly good with (and fond of) babies. Additionally, I tutored elementary school students and high school students during my junior and senior years at Bishop Kelly High School in Boise. I am CPR and First Aid Trained (expiring 6/15).
