I have worked in Social Services for the past 9 years. My first 8 years I spent working at an organization that provided housing, healthcare, and education to individuals with disabilities. I served both the Spanish and English speaking communities providing direct care and case management. For the past year I have worked with youth ages 13-17 in a wilderness therapy program as a Field Instructor and in the summers I guide canoe trips with youth and families in the Boundary Waters Wilderness Canoe Area in northern Minnesota. I enjoy being outdoors, love pets (especially dogs), am an avid reader, and like to create. I graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2008 with a degrees in Social Services, Art, and Spanish.
