I am a current college sophomore attending the University of Idaho, I am involved in a club lacrosse team at school and have played soccer for the past 11 years.  I dedicate part of my summer volunteering with an organization called The Arc, which works with children with disabilities. I have been a babysitter for the past 6 years and have worked with children ages 4 to 13 and some incredibly active dogs as well.  I am a huge advocate for exercise and fitness, on nice days I like to get outside with the kids and play games.  I am also very education oriented, so homework is a big priority, children I have worked with in the past have had some learning difficulties and I have been very patient to walk through one problem at a time to achieve success and understanding. I enjoy being around kids and making everything we Read more do a fun time, yes, that includes cleaning their rooms.  I like to make a game out of housework, or work on a certain schedule, if they accomplish so much in half an hour they get a 10 minute break and so on.  Overall I enjoy being a babysitter and doing whatever I can to be helpful to the children and family in general.
