I am the oldest child in my family as well as oldest grandchild on both sides of a big family. My parents started leaving me in charge of my three younger brothers at age 8, and considering my parents both worked full time, I never really stopped until I left for college. I became a medical assistant and worked as one for 3 years to gain experience and learn medical skills. I am trained in CPR, heimlich maneuver, and other life-saving techniques. I am still in college and looking for a fun job caring for little ones. I love children and am preparing to work with them as I specialize in child development and motor skills as an occupational therapist. (That is pretty far down the road).
