Meet Samantha

Hi there! My name is Samantha. I am a freshman at BYU-I and I am studying Business. However, I hope to be able to be a stay at home mom once I graduate. I come from a family of five kids where I am the second oldest. My three little brothers are now fifteen, thirteen and seven so I have been through all of the stages of growing up with them and helping to take care of them. When I became old enough, I was babysitting children of all ages every weekend. I have taken the babysitter's course along with the CPR course. In middle school I was a member of a club that went swimming and spent the day with the disabled children at my school. In 2013 I began working at a senior's home where I worked as a member of the hospitality staff until I moved away Read more from home to attend University. It was our job to help prepare and serve their meals and snacks, take temperatures of food, deal with special diets of residents, and clean up the serving and preparation areas afterwards. I feel that my experience has helped me to understand patience and find ways to multitask. I am extremely thorough when assessing and attending to the needs of specific individuals while maintaining the happiness and safety of a group. I believe that my experience and skills make me a great babysitter!
