My oldest is 23 I also have a 21 and 18 year old. I'm almost an empty nester but when my kids were little I started babysitting for other firefighters. My husband was a firefighter and because of his schedule I was a stay home mom for a while. I babysat for my first family for 4 yrs the were 10 months and 3 when I started and the second family I babysat for 3 years. I had those kids overnight a lot because one parent was a dr and the other a firefighter.
