I'm college student who is looking for a summer job as nanny or babysitter. Over the years I have had numerous experience with kids. I have a large family with a lot of younger cousins. I begin babysitting my cousins during the summer months when I was 11 years old. During high school, I was a mentor/ tutor for three years with the program Big Brothers Big Sisters. I worked one a one with a student and met with them weekly to assist them with homework and provide a positive environment. I also volunteered for two years at Saint Nicholas Church as a catechist (teacher of the principles of Christian religion) for third and sixth graders. I currently work as an afterschool tutor in Chicago at catholic school, during the school year. I supervise multiple children and help them with homework. I worked with toddlers up to 6th graders. I Read more am currently studying abroad in VIetnam, so I am unavalble to be contacted via phone. I will be back in Chicago May 5th.
