I have worked as a professional nanny in conjunction with my schooling for five years. Prior to that, in high school, I babysat frequently. I have always been very ambitious, compassionate, and free-thinking, with a goal to truly benefit and help heal the world around me. I love animals, people, nature, running, writing, reading, philosophizing, and gardening. I love any subject which challenges me to think for myself and offer up my own perspective. I love anything that speaks to my soul! I am very spiritual and inclined toward growth. I handle conflict of any sort, especially when it concerns kids, with love and understanding. For the past three years I have nannied for a family with two girls, now aged three and six. The mother, Corey, is one of my closest friends. I am especially keen on respect and gentle guidance when helping kids become their best selves. That being said, I do not have a hard time implementing rules when they have the best interest of the kids in mind. I also serve as a backup nanny for a family in Campton Hills and a date-night nanny in St. Charles. I nannied for a few different families prior to three years ago. As a freshman, I attended Fordham University in the Bronx and tutored kids aged 7-14 at a nonprofit called Fordham Beford Children's Services. I am a really solid tutor and have always done well in school. I now go to a different university closer to home; I transferred due to a variety of reasons--mainly the cost and because I just didn't love it. I hope to speak with you soon!
