I babysat as a teenager because I always loved kids. I have four of my own. Two girls are grown and married. I have one girl, 18, and one boy, 13 left at home. I still love kids and I feel qualified because childcare has been my life. I have been through mild illnesses, chronic illness, major hospitalizations, life threatening illness, minor surgeries, and major surgeries on the health side. And everything from fun times and quality play to minor scuffles between sibling and/or friends to major drama/bullying/broken hearts on the life side. And I understand that every household, every parent, and every child is different and I respect that. I dont have certifications, but can get them if needed. I have been working as well as raising my own for some time but I did babysit as work from 2006-2008 for 3 children, babies to toddlers and I occasionally Read more babysit for my friends' daughter who is on the severe autistic spectrum and she is comfortable with me and I try my best to make her time fun while absolutely safe. I have also homeschooled for 20 years so I can help out with homework. Anything else I will be happy to answer. I am new to these sites so I'm not sure what the process is for background checks but I will happily submit to or get one myself.
