My relevant qualifications include a BA in elementary and an endorsement in special education. Some of my accomplishments include: teaching in primary level classrooms, and teaching for Catapult Learning - with this assignment I tutored all grade levels in elementary school. I helped a Down Syndrome Student read at level after a two-year progression. I was told by a parent that her child was taken off his IEP when he entered high school based on our work together After teaching last school year which was not what I thought it would be, I realized that my heart is in working with children outside of the classroom allowing them to receive the accomplished feeling that encourages them to want to move on and explore more adventures in learning. I believe learning should be something student driven and our job is to facilitate their processes and curiosity.
