Hello Parents! My name is Marta and I am a stay at home mom of a 2 year old. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and over 8 years of early childhood experience. I am both first aid and CPR certified and act quick upon emergency situations. I have worked with children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. I have been a teacher as well as an assistant director of Kinder Care. Throughout the years, I have worked with children with various skills and abilities by providing them with many age appropriate activities that have challenged there thinking and let them explore the world on their own terms. I have always planed my curriculum around Howard Gardeners Model of Multiple Intelligence. Because I strongly believe that each child is special and unique and has their own way of learning. So whenever I plan my Read more curriculum I make sure that I include activities that entice sensory play, visual stimulation, auditory games, and nature/ science exploration, music and much more. After having my son and being out of the classroom for the last two years, I have really missed teaching and being that mentor that children look up too. So after some serious thinking, I have decided to open my own home day care, so I can provide my son with friends to play with and a safe and reliable place for other working parents to bring their children in that is not too expensive and will provide the children with the best care possible. As a parent myself, I understand how expensive daycare can be and that sometimes as parents we feel that all we are working for is to pay for our children's child care. So with all of that in mind, I came up with a reasonable prize of just $30 a day or $150 per week.
