My childcare philosophy is quite simple: with safety comes fun. Your child's safety is my number one concern. With over ten years of child care experience, I am a caring, compassionate and enthusiastic child care provider. I started my journey by working at an after school program in high school during the school year and served as a camp counselor in the summer. I have since continued serving in various roles in a residential summer camp setting. From Head Counselor to Camp Director, I have had the pleasure of working directly with youth as well as training others to work with youth. Along with traditional camp programs, I have served youth through year round programs, park district programs as well as out of school time programming. I hold my undergraduate degree in Community Leadership & Civic Engagement. Service is an extremely important component to my child care philosophy as well. I currently hold certifications in First Aid and CPR through the American Heart Association. Working with youth gives me great joy.
