For many years I ran a small in home day care in River Forest as well as owned and operated a Nanny Placement Agency. I moved to Florida for 11 years and recently moved back to the area. I now reside in Brookfield. For the past 17 months I have worked for a lovely family in Western Springs. The 2 children are Paige 18 months, and 3 year old Avery. Both parents were employed when I began this position. I am still with this family, but the mom had decided in August to leave her job as a teacher and Read more become a stay at home mom. The mom is now expecting another baby! I originally worked 4 days per week - I am currently there one day per week to give mom a break. I am thrilled to play with the girls I grew to love. They will be happy to provide you with an excellent reference for me! If my new position allows, I will keep this one day position, but it is not mandatory. Since I transitioned from 4 days, to one day per week with this family, I also have been with a loving family in Riverside 3 days per week since September. They have one daughter, Emerson, who just turned 9 months. I have been caring for Em since she was 3 months old. They will also provide you with an excellent reference. They are moving back to California where dad's work transfer is. They were very generous and offered me to come with them to California and continue being a part of their family and caring for their baby girl. I love them dearly, but my family is here and I spent 11 years in Florida! I am seeking a LONG TERM commitment. My expertise is with all ages - newborn to school age children!
