I'm a recent graduate with a master's degree (in biological anthropology) looking to continue in school and write (I write plays!) while working as a baby-sitter. I love kids and especially enjoy engaging them in creative play, like make-believe. I loved when anyone would indulge my desire to create worlds as a child, and that really encouraged me to continue to pursue writing as an adult, so I think it's very important to engage kids on their own terms. I am the oldest of four kids (I'm 24 and my siblings are 21, 16, and 14), so I have a LOT of babysitting experience from taking care of them and their friends. I also baby-sat in high school. In graduate school, I was a mentor/buddy to a child through my university's Student Volunteer office, which I really enjoyed having the opportunity to do.
