Hello! My name is Mariah Jackson, and thank you for taking the time to review my resume'! I have been in child care for years. It's kind of a family business for me. My grandmother was a principal, my mother was a nanny, teacher and child care provider, and I am a teacher and child care provider as well! I thoroughly believe that children are awesome little seeds, just waiting to grow and blossom into amazing adults. So it's important that we nourish and feed their minds and hearts the right things that they need to grow. Everything from colors and letters, to patience and compassion. I hope to provide it all. Here is a summary of my work history. Teacher’s Aid at Family Life Development Christian Learning Center 4/15-8/16 As a teacher’s aid at Family Life, it was my responsibility to care for children between the ages of 15 Read more months and 4 years old. I alternated between two classrooms, and was a main teacher in the afternoons. I provided lesson plans, snacks, constant communication with parents, kept track of diaper changes and potty training, and worked with a team of other teachers, to accomplish the best quality of love for the children, that we possibly could. Assistant Childcare Provider at Ma’s Rainbow Kids Christian Home Daycare 7/2010-8/2014 As an assistant childcare provider, my responsibility was to act as a second teacher to the children in a home daycare environment. I alternated between toddlers and older children, ages 6-10. I also was required to provide a clean atmosphere for the children both, spiritually, and physically.
