My babysitting experiences includes children from infancy through pre-teen ages. I am in currently in school to become a Pharmacist, however, I have a relatively flexible schedule. As a sitter I am versatile, making all activities age appropriate. For infants, I can work on tummy time, toys, reading, nursery rhymes, etc. For older children, I can play games, toys, crafts, puzzles, or whatever they prefer. She never actually babysat for me. She responded to a message I sent at 3:30p-ish on Thursday for a Saturday night babysitter. We texted back and forth until 4p-ish. Asked me to call after 8p. I did. No answer. No contact. She'd also said she'd send over documents (updated background check, etc.). I texted the next morning (Friday). She responded this time. ("Who is this?") Apparently, another family that she works for regularly had contacted her between 4p and 8p, because she said that she now had a job with them on Saturday night. I only wish that she had let me know this immediately, so that I could have rounded up another sitter last night.
