Hello my name is Angela and I've been caring for children for 16yrs. I'm bilingual English/Spanish although, I am more fluent in Spanish as it is my first language. After raising two kids of my own and working several different jobs, I decided to pursue my passion and become a caregiver. I began working with the Bane family. They were a fantastic young couple who had just had their first baby girl, Quincy. Quincy was a 3-month old angel that was born with Down Syndrome and was recovering from open-heart surgery when I met her. At the time, Quincy couldn't bottle feed and was being fed through an ng-tube, she needed special care and I was willing to provide that for her. I cared for Quincy as if she was my own and taught her Spanish along the way. I also learned some sign language myself, since it was easier Read more for her to communicate due to her speech impediment. I went on to care for Quincy for 3yrs, when we welcomed her baby brother, Julian, into the family. I then took care of both babies for a total of 8.5yrs. They were a part of my family and I was a part of theirs. After my first family, I went on to care for another adorable little baby girl named Ellie. Ellie was 3-months old when I started caring for her. I went on to watch her for 3yrs, when her parents decided to move out of state. Since then, I've been working for the Palumbo family and caring for their precious daughter Vivian. I began caring for Vivi when she was 4-months old and have been with her since, for the past 5yrs. Vivi, however, is now at the age where she's going to school and so it is time for me to find a new family. I am looking to care for a baby full-time Monday-Thursday. I am comfortable around pets but like to dedicate my attention 100% to the baby, and will not be walking/feeding dogs. I will however take care of anything pertaining to the baby, whether it be prepping their food or doing their laundry I have no problem with that.
