My past nannying experience was in Lake Geneva,WI. I was commuting to and from school and would nanny for this family for over 3 years. I cared for an 8 month old,2 year old and 6 year old. I have always been a very active person and taking care of 3 children came very natural. I have a passion for kids and want nothing more then to make sure they're safe, healthy and having a fun-filled life. The mother and father of these kids made in clear that I do school work,crafts,out door activities,drive them to and from school and really engage in the children's lives. Even if I wasn't working I would go to there dance recitals,school plays,choir and just come by and celebrate their birthdays. I loved every second of being with those kids. I taught swimming lessons on the side and we happen to have a community Read more swimming pool where we played all summer and worked on the kids swimming techniques. Education is a huge part of the kids lives and I know how hard it is during the summer to get kids to learn but I really enjoyed coming up with fun games that made learning fun for the kids. I also worked at the Grand Geneva Resort where I life-guarded for 4 years. My CPR certification has since expired and I plan on getting that renewed soon. I worked at the YMCA as a basketball coach for girls and I also assistant coached girls volleyball. Sports have been a big part of my life and being a healthy,active role model for kids is important to me.

We trusted Ashley when she eagerly made a one-year commitment to care for our two children. However, after 10 days of work she sent us a text message informing us that she had been offered another nanny position and we would need to give her a 50% raise in order to retain her. This was especially frustrating since she gladly accepted our original terms, specifically told us that money wasn't a main factor as she had other income sources and was primarily looking to gain additional caregiver experience, and constantly told us how good our kids were. Her responsibilities had not changed since she started with us -- which included caring for the children and associated clean-up (toys, dishes, etc. - no cooking, housekeeping or laundry). We didn't agree to her terms and terminated our relationship. We also learned she had an unapproved male visitor when caring for our children during her second to last day with us.
