I'm a very friendly, reliable and mature 21 year old sitter/jack of all trades. I grew up in Livingston County, Michigan and moved to Chicago a year and a half ago. My first experiences with childcare were growing up when I was still a kid myself! I was raised in a family of 10 children, I am the 4th oldest. I have been caring for my 6 younger siblings since I was still very young. Of course then, it wasn't my job, but part of my everyday responsibilities helping out at home. I started babysitting for hire when I was 12 years old. My experience includes caring for 1-5 children at once. While babysitting I enjoy many activities with the little ones & big ones including playing outdoors, sports, reading, crafts, games, and music. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I love children Read more and am really great with them. From exploring the world with them to teaching them to tie their shoes to cleaning them up after making a mess, I enjoy every moment of caring for children. Although I don't have any kids of my own, I can't wait to one day raise my own family. Meanwhile, being a nanny is a great way for me to be a part of the wonderful journeys and life of kids growing up! After graduating high school, I worked as a mental health technician in adult group homes for 2 years where I was CPR and First Aid certified. They have both expired (2 years ago) but I am willing to get re-certified as well as infant-CPR certification if needed. I am currently working at a lounge & grill part-time a few evenings a week starting anywhere from 5-7 p.m. I am looking for a part-time position with daytime hours.
