I have spent the last 3 years taking care of children full-time. When I started, the twins were 18 months and are now 4.5. Their big brother was 4, now 7. I worked for their family 50 hours a week and my responsibilities included everything child related, plus grocery shopping, cooking family meals, planning birthday parties, clothes shopping and more! My boss always joked I was the "house manager" I potty-trained the twins and contributed to the family challenge of teaching all 3 to read. I left my full-time job to go back to school full time. I consider my strengths to be finding the right balance between discipline and fun, fostering independence while remaining nurturing.
