Hello, my name is Catherine. I'm a preschool teacher that's been teaching for more than two years now and caring for children for more than seven years. I love caring for children and I personally enjoy creating a safe, fun, and balanced environment that is individually catered to each unique family. I like playing game, participating in crafts, going on nature walks, encouraging healthy eating habits as well as reading before bed time. I understand the importance of sticking to a schedule and working with parents to assist in creating a personalized and nurturing atmosphere for growth and learning. I make an effort to seamlessly fit into every family as a family member would. I not only enjoy looking after children but I appreciate them. I appreciate their creativity, their spirits and their eagerness to learn. Most of the families I sit for now I've met through teaching at the Read more preschool and have maintained a relationship with after their child moved on to kindergarten. I multiple certifications from Texas AM University that range from infant development and child nutrition. I am also certified and trained by the American Red Cross in Advanced Child Care/Pediatric, with experience in administering First Aid, CPR and AED. My qualification are: - Certified in Advanced Child Care Training by the Red Cross - Certified in Pediatric First Aid/CPR by the Red Cross - Certified in AED (Automated External Defibrillator) by the Red Cross - Three years of experience with children ages 5-12 years (After School Karate/Fitness). - 1.5 years of experience, formally teaching children ages 0-5 years (Preschool Teacher).
