Hello Families! My name is Esther Ahn and i'm 18 years old. I am a Korean-American, born and raised in Chicago. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. My experience in babysitting goes back to my childhood. I have three older sisters who were all hired for many babysitting jobs. I would follow them and help them care for the kids. I was an expert diaper changer by the time I was 8 years old. My own babysitting experience is extensive. I have cared for children ages 2 months- 12 years old. One of my last sitter jobs was watching 4 infants (2 months, 4 months, 4 months, 8 months) with the help of one other sitter for about 5 hours a day. In addition to infant care, I am also comfortable with toddlers and older children. I occasionally babysit for a family with 2 young children (2 years, Read more 4 years). I complete a variety of tasks including playing with them, serving them dinner, and putting them to bed. I'm a very active person and have been playing sports my whole life. I was a member of my high school soccer team and my youth group frisbee team. On weekends I usually go to the park and play basketball with other people from the neighborhood. I love playing with kids and keeping them active and healthy. Growing up, my parents always pushed me to grow academically. They told me that knowledge is the most powerful tool. I love learning and teaching, so I am more than willing to help your child with homework and projects. I am always looking to learn more. If your child/children have special needs, I am eager to learn how to better take care of them. I am not certified, but I have a learning mind and I am ready to do whatever it takes to create a safe and comfortable environment for you and your children. Caring for children is one my of passions and talents. I believe I can be a great caretaker and friend for your kids.

Esther has been watching my kids since my eldest was a newborn. I fully trust her with my kids (I now have three). My kids love her and she is not only an amazing friend and playmate for them (the oldest is now 5.5), but she can also nap toddlers/infants and make sure that the kids eat the food I leave for them. Esther has also babysat for our infant/toddler group at church and could amazingly handle four infants without getting stressed out. She truly has a gift with children!
