Hi! I am a young, well-educated woman with caregiving and teaching experience with children from infants to teenagers. I love nannying and babysitting because children are funny! They see the world in a beautiful way that is unclouded by anxieties and stress, and they are unbelievably creative. I am an actor, musician, and general creative type, so I love to do creative activities like story-telling games and crafts with children. I spent my winter in 2012 in Bolivia where I designed and led theatre workshops for 30+ Bolivian children that culminated in public performances. This experience instilled in me the ability to maintain the attention of many children of many age groups, and it also helped me become proficient in Spanish. I also spent 4 months of last year teaching English in Mexico, which further improved my Spanish and teaching skills. I can organize activities and manage time for children Read more well so that they are staying active and engaged. I have experience caring for infants, toddlers, and elementary-middle school age students. I have done everything from morning care (getting everybody awake and going for the day), to after school care (picking up, homework help, etc.), and nighttime care (dinner, putting kids to bed, etc.) I have a flexible schedule, and I am very reliable, punctual, and organized.
