Hello! My babysitting experience began in my role as the oldest sister of five. Outside of babysitting for my family, I babysat for two other families regularly throughout my high school and collegiate years. Babysitting for these families included all day care, after school care, and weekend trips. The summer before college I had the opportunity to work for the Chicago Park District as a day camp counselor working with preschool and grade school children. During my collegiate years I worked with young, middle school girls as running camp counselor for a program called Girl’s on the Run. Most recently in my job as an athletic trainer in the Western Suburbs, I worked primarily with high school aged students, and occasionally during the summer I worked with grade school and middle school children at their summer sports camps. For two years, while I was an athletic trainer I worked for Read more two families in the Western Suburbs assisting their daughters in their morning routines and driving them to school. While going to school this past school year I provide care for a family with 3 little girls (4,2,1). Currently, I am returning to school at Northwestern University for a master’s in Mental Health Counseling. My weekend availability depends on my schedule, but I am willing to discuss it if you do need weekend availability. I'm looking for part time work 2-3 days a week primarily Monday, Thursday and Friday I am most available, but can possibly consider Tuesday and Wednesday depending on my classes. I'm currently looking for something to start in Middle of June and something for next school year. I became a caregiver because it seemed to come natural to me as an older sister. I love to spending time with kids, their wit and humor keeps me laughing for days and their simple wisdom, often teaches me something valuable.
