My name is Lysandra Santiago. I am 34 years old. I started babysitting when I was 14. I started working for the Chicago Park District when I was 15 and was a recreation leader and worked with kids from ages 3-17 years of age. I ran the after school tutoring program, cheerleading coach, and president of the Teen Club. When I turned 21, I left the Park District and started working for Chicago Public Schools and I am presently working still for CPS. I am a Special Education Child Attendant. I work with children from pre-k-8th grade that have special needs, behavior problems, autism or academic needs. I am also the track and field coach, double dutch coach, and flag football coach. I graduated from Northeastern University in 2011 with my BA in Social Work, in 2013 I graduated from Dominican University with my Masters Degree in Social Work. I Read more am a nice, caring, patient, educated woman. I am also a mother to a 14 year old boy. My son has asthma and food allergies so I am well aware of how important it is to be aware of a child's health. I am also trained on how to use an EPI pen. I am off during the summer and I am looking for a part-time babysitting job.
