Hi Chicago families! I am a full time pediatric occupational therapist and am available for date night sitting Friday evening and weekends. I come from a large extended family with many young cousins and opportunities for child care. I am very active in the outdoors and was previously a camp counselor for 8 summers. I have maintained regular babysitting jobs since high school (that's around 18 years if you're counting!). I love to read, work out, play with my dog, complete 1,000 piece puzzles and play board games!

This was our first experience with sittercity and Katie was fantastic. She came to the hotel we were staying at and watched my two boys (7 and 9) while we were at a wedding reception. She did crafts and games with them and got them to bed no problem. They had a lot of fun with her. She was great and very easy to communicate with. Next time we venture to Chicago we will definitely use Katie again!

Katie is a phenomenal sitter! She engages with the kids the entire time, is patient and kind, and energetic. Katie is a pediatric Occupational Therapist and knows all about child development. She is very responsive and is always on time.

We love Kate. Kate has always done an excellent job with our two-year-old daughter. She has always been on time and arrives ready to work. Our daughter struggles with the transition as we leave, but Kate handles the situation with grace and humor. In the morning, our daughter always talks about how much fun she had with Kate. Highly recommended.
