Hello! My name is Kelly. I am currently a junior in college at DePaul University. I am majoring in English and Psychology (concentration in child development). After graduating, I hope to go to graduate school to get my masters, while nannying full time. I swam in high school, so I am very athletic and full of energy. I don't like to sit inside and watch TV all day! During high school, I worked as a lifeguard and actives assistant at Saint Mary of Providence. Saint Mary of Providence is a day program and residential facility for women with special needs. Therefore, I am very well trained in how to handle stressful situations, safety measures, and I'm creative, etc. I also have been babysitting since I was in 8th grade. The children's ages have ranged from 4 weeks old-13 years old. I am also an animal lover! I have 2 dogs Read more (I just adopted a greyhound) and a chinchilla, so having pets would be awesome! As of right now, I babysit regularly for two families in Lincoln Park and they are my life! I am basically apart of 3 families now and I wouldn't have it any other way! The one family has two boys, ages 4 and 7 years old. I have been babysitting for them since June, every Monday and Wednesday from 4-7:30 and the occasional Friday/Saturday. The second family has a 1 year old baby boy. I have been babysitting him since August for 15 hours a week. I also babysit for numerous families around the city on date nights and for occasional care! As of right now, I am just looking for babysitting gigs on the weekdays/weekends! The second family I sit for is moving in June, so I will be looking for a part-time (12-17 hours a week) babysitting job in the summer and next school year once they move. I require a cab fee/uber after babysitting gigs after 9:30 PM. I live in Lakeview between the Wellington and Belmont. Thank you!
