Greetings- My name is Sarah and I'm currently a Chicago Public School Teacher and have been for the past three and half years, working with children ages kindergarten through twelfth grade. My degree is in Special Education, thus is why I have worked across a span of grade levels. I hail from Michigan, and moved to Chicago in 2011, working as a nanny for a beautiful family, while awaiting conformation from CPS. The family I worked for had three children, a nine- month old, a three-year old (whom had special needs), and a five year old. I was responsible for everything from taking them to and from school, to swim practice, and running basic errands. I feel very comfortable with children of all ages, and levels. In addition, being a teacher, also makes me feel very comfortable with groups of children. Prior to moving here, I was a teacher in Read more Michigan, as well as a nanny , and worked at a daycare during my formative years. In all I've been working with children as far back as I can remember. When thinking about what I could do to supplement teaching, I thought what better than to work as a babysitter. I will care for your children as they were my own, and as I do with all my students! For children are the real teachers of the world!
