I am an experienced child caregiver and have been working with children for about 8 years. I started babysitting at 13 and have fell in love with this profession ever since. I have babysat for several families since then and was also a camp counselor for two years. This position taught me great responsibility, as I was looking after a group of ten kids. The children's safety always came first and I checked in with each parent at the end of the day to discuss the behavior of their child, positive or negative. After safety came the fun! Everyday, there was an array of activities for the kids to choose from including sports, arts and crafts and playing on the playground. We also went on weekly field trips some of which were, a baseball game, the beach, jump zone(a trampoline house), pottery painting, a comedy show and many more. Keeping Read more the kids busy, happy and active was never a problem and it was always a joy to do it. When babysitting, I always like to have fun things for the kids to do but also made sure to help them with all of their school work and projects. Helping them further their education is very important to me and making sure their homework is done is always a priority. Although many kids dread this, I help in anyway I can and try to make the process as easy and fun as possible. Cooking is also passion of mine, so I would be more than happy to prepare meals. This is also a great activity that the kids can have fun participating in. Working with children has brought such joy and fulfillment to my life and I can't wait to bring my services to a wonderful family.
