I graduated from Dominican University in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science. After graduation, I completed a year and a half of Nursing school at Dominican University. During this time, I realized that although my passion for taking care of people hasn't changed, nursing is not the way to fulfill that need. Although my end goal is to ultimately obtain a Master's Degree in Counseling, I believe that helping a child grow in their early stages of development would help me gain real world experience in taking the next step. I come from a family of educators, and was once an Early Childhood Education major. I worked at the Rose K Goedert Center at Dominican for a year in the 2 and 5 year old room, before switching into nursing. I have been a babysitter for infants, toddlers, school age children and adolescents. In addition Read more to my work experience I have also taken psychology classes on children's psychology, adolescent psychology, and lifespan development. I currently work part time in the evenings at Traci's house as a peer mentor to girls ranging from middle school to high school.
