Hello! I live in Rogers Park and I am looking for part-time work caring for children. I currently work part-time at two programs on the north side as an experiential educator. I love spending time with kids outdoors, and finding experiential learning opportunities based on what excites them. I am CPR and First-Aid certified for infants, children and adults. I have worked as an educator in various capacities for the past seven years. I have been a nanny for several families, primarily for children between the ages of 18 months and 4 years. I have worked as an elementary school educator with children between the ages of 5 and 10, and at summer camps and outdoor education programs with children between 6 and 14. I am experienced writing and reading tutor for elementary and middle-school aged students, and I am proficient in tutoring elementary math and science.

Aviva is awesome. She showed up on time and didn't bat an eye at our chaos--we were trying to coordinate 8 adults leaving the house at the time she came in. Within five minutes my daughter, initially shy, threw her arms around Aviva in a giant hug and announced "This is my babysitter!" I knew they would be great friends, and I was right! Lucy woke up the next morning talking nonstop about the things she had done with Aviva. We'll have to go out more often, so Lucy and Aviva can play again! (As a bonus, here is Lucy's review: You should tell them that she is not good at finding things but I am! [OK, but what is something good about her and not you?] Well I like about her that she is nice! And she gave me a bath, too! I liked playing with her, and I want to play with her again.)
