Updated: I currently babysit regularly for one wonderful family in Los Angeles, and am only available for occasional or 1x/week childcare. Education & Career: I am a responsible, self-employed freelance photographer - and sometimes babysitter! I previously worked as a professional for 8 years in communications before changing my job in order to have more flexibility. I love early childhood development and considered becoming a pre-school teacher. My childcare philosophy includes safety + respect, communication, and play! My favorite child development book is "How to Talk so Children will Listen, and Listen so Children Will Talk." This past year I've regularly babysat for one family. While its always a little different, we've also developed our general routine.
