Hi! I’m looking for work as a part-time or full-time nanny for infants and toddlers in the Logan Square / Bucktown area. I’m 24 and have been living in Chicago for about six years. I attended UIC with a background in Psychology, which I find to be continually relevant and helpful in childcare. I have been babysitting and nannying for about five years and have found that I particularly enjoy working with infants and toddlers, the youngest I’ve worked with being 8 weeks. I have experience with feeding, naptime, interactive play, and supervised independent play. I enjoy reading books with kids, doing arts and crafts, and going for walks. Some of my personal interests include doing puzzles, visiting museums, attending concerts, and learning random animal facts from nature documentaries :) I currently work for two families, whose contact info I can provide as references. One family has a 3.5-year-old and Read more an 18-month-old, and the other has a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old. Due to a change in scheduling, I will be available on Mondays and Thursdays starting April 24th, but I am open to considering full-time positions if we end up being a good fit for each other. I hope to find a position where I am able to build and grow a strong connection with the child and family.
