I have had experience babysitting for the past 5-6 years. The children that I have provided care for were between the ages of infancy and 7 years. Most of the children that I have watched, I have experienced their growth and provided their parents with babysitting help for many years of their lives. Most of my knowledge of child care and babysitting stems from personal experience and taking courses during my undergraduate college career. Being a caregiver for families and children has been very enjoyable and lately has been even more enjoyable because I am a mother-to-be now. Providing childcare does not only open the door for me to care for the child when needed and teach them and keep them entertained while in my care, it also gives me the chance to learn about the likes of children and prepare myself for one of my own in the future.
