Hello. My first job in high school was babysitting! I also had taken many Child Development courses in high school, and enjoyed it very much. Fast Forward: I am a mother to a wonderfully inquisitive young man and I am also a state-licensed early-childhood teacher today. I am a mother to a talented and creative teen-aged high-school son. He and I like to spend our days together doing many fun things that moms and children oftentimes do together, like baking, gardening, running errands together, and much more. I am also a licensed early-childhood teacher since 2004, who works during the day teaching 3-to-5 year old students, getting them ready socially, emotionally, and cognitively for kindergarten. I have taught both in private and public schools in Chicago. I attended Saint Xavier University for my B.A. and DePaul University for my M.Ed. I plan to do something other than teaching in the near future, but for now, teaching early-childhood is my current profession. I assist with homework, positive nurturing, crafts, fun and games.
