Caring for people and animals has always been a part of my life. Whether it was growing alongside the children my mother cared for or learning the joy of providing care on my own, I've always had a passion to lending a hand and being dependable. I enjoy adapting to any household and child's schedule to keep the transition to a sitter as seamless as possible. My past experience includes babysitting for friends and family at a young age until I was hired by an agency in Chicago to provide babysitting services for downtown hotels. This is when I had the most versatile and creative experience because I learned to adapt to a different family each visit while needing to plan engaging activities within the hotel. During that time I cared for children from the ages of 6 months to 14 years. I graduated with a BFA in Photography so Read more my desire is to provide an expressive and imaginative educational space. Which is why my prior experience has also included teaching elementary school girls how to foster a healthy body image through after school yoga classes. I've taught art classes to elementary schools in the Solana Beach/Encinitas area. I've worked with an agency to provide art therapy to individuals with disabilities, and have been a caregiver for elderly with dementia. My experience is vast and hopefully shapes my inherent qualities of being patient, flexible, loving, reliable and willing to adapt.
