I am a second year student studying neuroscience at Loyola University Chicago. Along side my studies, I am the president of the Chicago chapter of Volunteers Around World providing medical care to families in both Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia as well as a volunteer at Lurie Children's Hospital. Along with experience in working medically with kids, last summer I spent my time nannying a family of three kids in Chicago's north-side neighborhoods. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and Red Cross Certified in Child Care Training. I want to work as a nanny because, growing up, I had amazing experiences with my caregivers and want to be able to do the same now as an adult. I also one day hope to attend medical school and work in Family Medicine because I strive to not only take care of children but take care of their entire family as well.
