Hi, my name is Leora and I'm a voice actor and special effects makeup artist from Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Comedy Writing and Performance from Columbia College Chicago. I've been babysitting since I was 12 years old and have never stopped- I've also worked at multiple summer camps, and taught music and art enrichment preschool classes. Currently, my weekday schedule is filled up with recurring jobs, but I am available for sporadic Tuesdays, weeknights and anytime on weekends! I've always found working with kids preferable to working with adults- I get to take my goofy nature and put it to perfect use! I'm knowledgable in early childhood development and can tailor activities to fit educational goals of specific age brackets. I know how to interact in a way that fosters confidence and learning through play. Leora was terrific. She came over and jumped right in with my 4 and 2 year old. I needed another 15 minutes to get ready and they had already played tag, hide and seek, and were starting on their drawings. She is very fun, personable, and amazing with the kids. She created lots of fun art with them and they loved her. Will definitely book Leora again in the future.

Leora clearly can handle a kid with a cranky mood, and she handles the situation really well, with patience and upbeat spirit. My son connected with her nicely and soon clam down and got along with her for the entire session. Very pleasant appointment.
