Growing up in a large family has its perks! One of those is that you'll always have a babysitter on hand. Being one of the older siblings/cousins, I've had several fun opportunities babysitting children from newborns through 12 years since I was 11 years old. Every summer, I care for my nephews from D. C. for about two weeks. They are currrently 11, 8, and 3 years old. Outside of the family, my experience was largely babysitting for friends of my parents for a few hours in the evening. During my early college years, I assisted in the art department at an elementary school where I helped out students bring out their creative side. I occasionally care for two families from time to time and would like to expand to other occasional/temporary positions.
