Working with children brings me joy and great reward. For the past four years, I have been a part-time nanny. Prior to that I regularly babysat three brothers, one of whom was special needs. As an Art and Design major, my gifts lie in my love of creating with children, be it seasonal crafts, art projects, or baking and cooking. I enjoy outdoor activities with children, such as hiking, biking, nature walks, and playing at the park or a playground. My preference is to be hands-on with a child rather than place them in front of media while in my care.

Shanti was great with my kids. She created superhero masks and cuffs for them and they had a lot of fun with her. She was really patient at bedtime and even rubbed my daughter's back for her for a while. The icing on the cake was that she also loaded the dishwasher for me - I totally appreciate it.
