Hello! My name is Julia and I am a 20 year old college student. I live in Bridgeport and am currently going to school for my Associates degree in Biology with a minor in child development. I am infant, child and adult CPR AED certified. In additon to that I am also a DCFS mandated reporter, which plays a critical role in protecting children by recognizing and reporting child abuse. I have completed the following training's - "Welcoming Each and Every Child" which meets the DCFS requirement for early childhood providers in special care inclusion training and" Gateways Early Childhood Education Credential 1", which includes general child development, health and safety, school-age care, observation, environments for children, and the importance of relationships with children and their families. I currently work part-time as an Assistant Teacher on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I help with homework and ensure we stay on task Read more as well as help teach two lessons a day. I have the most experience working and taking care of children ages 4 to 14. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I attend my classes, but I am available to work these days although, only after 3pm. My weekends are free as well as all holidays.
