Born and raised in Silverton, Oregon, I graduated magna cum laude from Cornell College in 2015 with a degree in Psychology. Although my degree is in Psychology my true love is theatre, and post-graduation I made my living as a teaching artist working with kids from five to 18 years old to understand the basics of theatre and put on a production. In addition to teaching theatre I also work as an academic tutor in a variety of subjects, from basic reading and arithmetic to algebra and biopsychology. I have been babysitting all my life, and I truly believe that maintaining my childlike sense of excitement and being able to connect with young people have benefitted me in all areas of my life, professional and personal alike.
