Hi my name is Magda and I graduated from the University of Denver in June of 2022. I majored in Socio-legal Studies and Media Studies and am very interested in childhood development and education. I am thinking of going on to get my Masters in Social Work in about a year or two. I have plenty of experience working with kids whose ages range from 6 months old to 14 years old. My most professional experience comes from being a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). I am appointed by the Denver County Dependency and Neglect Court to be on a case where I serve as the person who speaks on behalf of the children to make sure they are being heard and spends time with them so they get to just be kids in the midst of going through very big challenges in their family life. Because of being a Read more CASA, I have undergone intense training on interpersonal relationships, communication, trauma informed care and childhood development. I have also passed a background check for this role and have been fingerprinted. Additionally, in past years I have been a morning nanny for two school aged kids where I would cook breakfast and help them get ready to start their day. Furthermore, I was an after school nanny for an eighth grader and picked her up from school taking her wherever she needed to go before returning home. I also consistently babysit when needed for various families and have even taken care of 5 kids under the age of 7 at once... that made me feel like I can do anything! I also tutored children for three years at a domestic violence shelter in Chicago. I have been certified by the American Red Cross for babysitting and childcare and am CPR certified. In addition, I have a driver's license and clean driving record. I would love to talk more to see if I would be a good fit for your kids and your family!
