Hi! My name is Bea and I am in search of a job over the summer. I am currently a senior at DePaul University majoring in Early Childhood Education. Although I have never had a steady babysitting or nanny job, I have babysat for different families occasionally throughout the years. I also have plenty of experience in regards to working with and caring for children. My entire working career has involved working with children. I have a lot of experience in both learning centers and daycares. I have worked closely with a variety of ages (as young as 3 months and as old as middle school). My duties at these centers included changing diapers, preparing bottles, preparing food, setting children down for nap time, and engaging in educational play time! I have also worked as a summer camp counselor in previous years. Under DePaul, I have been placed in many Read more internships throughout the past four years where I worked with infants/toddlers and school aged children. I have also completed all of my undergrad coursework where I’ve thoroughly studied childhood development, child safety & health, child behavior, and a handful of courses about curriculum, instruction & assessment! I’m currently completing my student teaching and I’ll be receiving my degree on June 12th! If you are interested in seeing more of my teacher work, I would love to share that. Besides all of that formal work, I’m very passionate about working with children and helping them grow. I love being around them because I learn so much from them. Being around them and their creativity is so refreshing and fun! So, although I haven’t had any steady babysitting or nanny jobs, I am confident that I am qualified and responsible enough to care and watch over children. I will not be available to work until after I graduate, so my current start date is June 14th. I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling. Also, it is important to note that I am fully vaccinated and I have my own car in the city! I am currently located in Lakeview but I will be moving somewhere up North in June as well.
