Hi families! My name is Zakiya and I am originally from Brooklyn, NY. I have 8 years experience working as a sitter/child care provider. I truly love being a sitter/child care provider because I love to create nurturing, educational, and safe spaces that allow children to grow and learn about themselves and the world around them. I am also an AmeriCorps service member and a graduate student studying School Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am comfortable working with children ages 2 years and up. Some of my favorite sitting activities include creating arts and crafts, playing educational board games, reading, and cooking kid friendly meals. I’m excited to do all this and more with your family!
