Hi! Let me introduces myself My name is Ruth Rojas. I was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. I have my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development.I am bilingual in Spanish. I have taught at a variety of centers and worked with many families in the past 16 years. I chose this field because I truly love children. Working with children has been very rewarding for me. I believe children learn through play. Children expand their understanding of themselves and others through interaction as well as their knowledge of the physical world and their ability to communicate with peers and adults. I believe that it's important that children feel safe and comfortable while away from their parents. When I'm not teaching at school, I'm at home teaching my own two young children. My daughter is thirteen years old and my son is twelve years old.Being a mother has taught me Read more a lot. I know how parents feel about leaving or dropping their children off with a stranger and all the emotions that go with it. I keep my lines of communication very open with families as it should be so that all questions and concerns are addressed.
