I am a mature and caring education professional with a Masters of Education.  I have two years of work experience with infants and toddlers in a day care center, as well as 10 years of elementary classroom teaching experience.  I currently work as a Montessori teacher and my teaching philosophy is based on a strong respect for children and a desire to encourage their innate curiosity. I don't use the television as a babysitter, and love getting outside with kids for walks/the park/playdates/museums, etc.  I have current CPR/Infant CPR/First Aid certifications. My resume and references are available upon request. I am currently available after 3:45 on weekdays, and any time on the weekends. I also have a car and would be able to pick up children from school, but only if it is after 3:45. My preferred rate for babysitting is $14. to $20. per hour, depending on the number of children.
